How long does a project typically take?
That all depends on your schedule! You can schedule our first virtual meeting any time under Services + Schedule. Once the consultation is done, we spend some time creating your mood board and custom style. Once we agree on a style, we’ll begin rendering your 3D space. Without any delays, projects are usually started and completed in less than 10 days, but you’ll always be kept in the loop through our project management tool, Milanote.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely! If you have a sofa you love, artwork that you need to keep or anything else, we can work it in to your design. Existing furniture is great because it saves money on your budget and saves time. We just need a photo (in good lighting) and dimensions of the special piece and we’ll work it into your design.
Can I talk to you during my design process?
You can post project questions, comments, and feedback 24/7 through our online project management tool, Milanote. It’s a special tool for designers and their clients to communicate and see the items recommended for their space. Phone support is available by appointment and you can book it on our Services+Schedule page.
What is a Mood Board?
A Mood Board is a 2D collage that reflects your custom style. It includes furniture pieces, lighting, accessories, rugs, and a custom color palette. It’s also like a cheat sheet for you to keep incase you want to add more to your space once your project is through. We create a Mood Board for you and adjust it to fit your style, budget, and room!

Will you really stay within my budget?
We always aim to come UNDER budget. Your shopping list will include the pieces from your design, and some suggestions on where to splurge and where to save. You’ll see a budget breakdown of your project during your concept presentation. You’ll see exactly how we divide your budget into categories like; furniture, accessories, lighting, soft goods, art and more! Feel free to let us know if you would like your budget adjusted.
Amazing pieces can be found on any budget. We always recommend checking your local thrift and donation stores for the best prices on lamps, pots, picture frames and other small goods.
Where do you get your products for my space?
Because your design is 100% virtual, we shop for you space through popular retailers like Etsy, Home Goods, Anthropologie, C2B, and more! We have 100’s of vendors and always shop for the best piece for you!
